Hi all! I use IVF to compile my models in PSS\E using the PSSE environment manager. I had to change my windows and after installing new windows, with the newer version (2024), I got the following error:

[64 bit] Files not found for IVF 192.49896 (IVF 19.2.49896): ifort.exe libmmd.dll libmmd.lib

Do you have any solution for this or link to older versions? (IVF 19 or later) (I have installed visual studio, intel oneapi base toolkit, intel oneapi hpc, and intel visual fortran compiler)

(full message:

Compile not allowed for PSSE versions: 35.5.3, 35.3.0

Installed Visual Studio versions: 17.0 (VS 2022), 17.0 (VS 2022)

Installed Intel Fortran Compiler versions: IVF 19.2.49896, IVF 19.2.49896

[32 bit] Files not found for IVF 192.49896 (IVF 19.2.49896): ifort.exe libmmd.dll libmmd.lib

[64 bit] Files not found for IVF 192.49896 (IVF 19.2.49896): ifort.exe libmmd.dll libmmd.lib)

Re-install. I know it is painful but usually works. I would install first IVF then PSSe. My setup works ok with PSSe v.34, v.35:

PSS(R)E User Model Compile/Link - Environment Manager 9.2.1, Python 3.7.9 [x86] Wed Jan 3 10:28:44 2024

Successfully added PSSE paths to local PATH and LIB environment.

Dear jconto, Thank you for your reply. I have tried this multiple times. Installing PSS\E and other pacckages in different orders. However, I have failed. I suspect that the paths have changed in recent updates. Before this, I had version 2023.2 for compilers and made it work.

I checked the passes, the new passes are totally different. I have to modify them. Thank you very much!

The problem was actually because of the path. Siemens has published Env. Manager 10.0.1 just now that supports intel toolkits 2024.0.2.

Hi amin76mf, which version of PSSE you are using along with Env Manager 10.0.1? The latest one I can access is PSSE 35.6.1 but the included Env Manager within the installer is still 9.2.1. Thanks.

Hi, Sorry for the late response. We had this academic license and I contacted them via that. They sent me the new environment manager via email.
