You cannot use GENCLS as this is the basic model of a generator (Classical Model) which is mostly used in texts in Power System Analysis. To capture the dynamics of your case, you may need to model your generators according to existing modeling guidelines (such as those published by IEEE). I suspect that NAN values were due to machine parameters. As mentioned, you need to accurately model the generators and associated control systems (e.g. exciter, governor, PSS, etc.)
